The Supplier Diversity Program at Rotek is designed to ensure a fair and equitable opportunity for small business (SB), small disadvantaged business (SDB) and women-owned small business (WOSB) to participate in the Rotek procurement process.

This program is sponsored and promoted by the following activities:

1.    Establishment and promotion of the Supplier Diversity Program.

The program is the responsibility of the Materials Manager, who is designated the Rotek Small Business Liaison Officer.

2.    Publication and distribution of small business procurement opportunities and capabilities.

Rotek promotes procurement activity with small and disadvantaged business by publishing and distributing the capabilities of these business enterprises to all levels of the Rotek organization.

3.    Involvement and participation in local trade fairs.

To find and reach out to small, disadvantaged and women-owned businesses, Rotek participates in local and regional Supplier Diversity trade shows.

4.    Utilization of peer referrals.

Rotek seeks information from local and regional business enterprises, the small business program at the Defense Contract Management Agency, and by active participation in the local Institute for Supply Management professional society, formerly known as the National Association for Purchasing Management.
