Rotek - Seamless Rolled Rings

Rotek manufactures forgings in a wide variety of materials

A Wide Selection Of Materials, Sizes And Configurations

Rotek began production of seamless rolled rings in 1981 with the purpose of manufacturing quality rings for a variety of applications:
  • Gearing
  • Bearings
  • Slewing rings
  • Turbines
  • Transformers
  • Pipeline Flanges
  • Valves
  • Aviation and Astronautics
  • Rotary Kilns

Rotek’s ring rolling mill is an advanced manufacturing system capable of producing seamless rolled rings from 400 mm (16") to 4000 mm (158") in diameter with a weight range of 80 kg (180 lbs) to 4000 kg (8000 lbs). With an inventory stock of 75 different base materials, Rotek is able to meet nearly every customer request, and, meet delivery requirements too. Materials processed by Rotek include carbon, carbon alloy, stainless steel, aluminum alloys and high alloy steels.

Utilizing sophisticated heat treatment equipment, Rotek is able to obtain optimum processing and application properties in each specific material grade. Apart from standard processes like normalizing, annealing, soft annealing, austenitizing and tempering, other program-controlled processes allow precise adherence to specific time-temperature specifications for special ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. In addition to providing rings in the "as rolled" condition, Rotek’s manufacturing facilities include complete machining capabilities.

Quality assurances for all rolled ring products is supported by Rotek’s Total Quality Management system, certified by Det Norske Veritas as complying with ISO 9001 and ISO 9002.
